Explore Ireland’s magnificent mid-West and enjoy the luxury of your own lakeside period coach house on our 38-acre country estate. The TWO Lodges on the Mount Cashel estate were built initially in 1850 as a coach house for the elegant home. The large double doors in the centre of the property hark back to those days, being wide enough to allow horse-drawn carriages to pass through.

Each of our superior Lodges can sleep FIVE PEOPLE comfortably while privacy and quiet is assured with your own courtyard and patio. Both of our two lodges have been inspected and awarded a 4-Star rating by Failte Ireland.
Each individual lodge is accessed via an entrance door which leads to a living and dining area with 3-piece suite, dining table and chairs. Each lodge has oil fired central heating throughout. Beautiful French doors let in the light and open out onto a private patio which leads out to the lawn and lake. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped.
Each lodge has two bedrooms. The master bedroom features a king size bed (5ft) and a single bed, with stunning views of the lake. The twin bedroom in each lodge has two single beds and an ensuite with toilet, sink and shower. Each lodge has a main bathroom with full bath, shower, toilet and sink. All rooms have been beautifully furnished and finished to 4-star standard.
